A couple of months ago, I completed a 50-days challenge. I had goals for every day. I intended to be active, study for my thesis, work on my career change plan, eat healthily, and more every day for 50 days.

A 50-day commitment to each goal was difficult to achieve. However, aside from one or two days, I performed a decent job. Additionally, I shared my challenge in a Medium post.

I began this challenge to improve both my emotional and physical health. I felt like I had no control over my life then. Yet I decided to take responsibility for myself, and if I hadn’t seen any progress afterward, I might have regretted it.

Furthermore, I observed outcomes. I became more confident every time I completed each day. Just working on me was something.

It continued for some time. I thought that I had finally developed my objectives into habits. Anyway, after a while, everything became blurry. For instance, I was working out four days per week. Then it changed to 3 and 2, and you guessed. The same applied to other tasks.

I, therefore, consider what went wrong and how I should get back on track for a few days. I understood that making a plan and establishing goals aids in getting things done.

I have grown since I began the 50-day challenge. Despite the setbacks, I still benefited from the challenge. It’s comparable to the three-steps forward, two-steps back Turkish dance, but you still aren’t where you started.

After all of these considerations, I decided to do another challenge. I am not giving up myself. I will keep fighting.

My target is 2023, and I’ll start tomorrow. So, it is a 37-day challenge. Thirty-seven days sounds absurd, but what matters? Postponing doing something is just wasting time.

What’s on my ready-to-2023 package:

· Praying/ meditating every day
· No social media (instagram, twitter)
· Reading at least ten pages book
· Working on my thesis
· Working on my career plan
· Doing intermittent fasting
· Drinking 2 lt water for a day
· Working out five days the week
· Taking time for my self-care every day
· Tracking these habits every day and writing about them in medium

In the end, I am ready for the second round and confident that my efforts will be rewarded in 2023.

I appreciate you taking the time to read and support me. Your support makes me keep going. I would love to hear from you! Please leave your thoughts in the comments below. I hope to see you again soon.
