Why You Shouldn’t Wait for New Year For Your Resolutions

I don’t remember any time I was satisfied with my life. I have always wanted and needed to do more. For example, I have always tried to include exercise and reading into my routine.

Also, some dates were perfect to begin being more productive like new years, birthdays or even Mondays. Besides the date when I started working, time also matters. For example, if the time showed 10.51, it wasn’t appropriate to study anymore, and I had to wait until 11.

So, I was, and am, in the loop because I can’t always be productive. Sometimes the procedure is so seamless that I am unaware of how I stop finishing my tasks. However, there are times when I only stop to take a break and wait till the right moment to resume.

When 2022 was coming, I was so excited. I had goals. This year was that year and I could be the person I want to be. I immediately began putting my plans into practice after the new year.

Naturally, it didn’t last very long. As time passed, I got depressed and started losing hope in myself. In this mood, I decided to be more structured. I listed what I want and what I need to get them. After that, I started a 50-day challenge.

The 50-day challenge went very well. I proved to myself that I could succeed if I tried. I can overcome my negative thoughts with its assistance. For me, it was a major step. Then I took a break and lost my momentum.

I have never turned back to the point where I was. This experience has taught me that time is meaningless if you feel compelled to act. Time itself could be your deadliest enemy.

Whenever I postponed the start date, I just felt guilty until the day I was waiting for came. Also, now I have experienced what can be achieved in 50 days. We have thirty-seven days due to the new year which is also a good amount of time to improve.

Don’t waste your time if you have goals and believe that achieving them will make you happier. Your motivation for the new year will increase as a result of the progress you achieve in this process.

Start now; don’t wait till the new year to do so.

You only have one life. Also, you never know when it will end. When you postpone doing anything, you postpone the reward, too.

Only this exact moment is under your control. You don’t have any power from the past, and you can’t shape your future by waiting. Therefore you must act rather than consider.

I appreciate you taking the time to read and support me. I would love to hear from you! Please leave your thoughts in the comments below, and if you enjoyed don’t forget to clap. I hope to see you again soon.
